The Role

As a Front End Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of front-end solutions using TypeScript and React.js. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and user-friendly web applications. Your role will involve mentoring and guiding a team of front-end developers, ensuring best practices, and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of front end developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.

• Architect and design robust, modular, and reusable front end components and systems using TypeScript and ReactJS.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable front end solutions.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and proper documentation.

• Implement and maintain testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in front end development, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and cross-browser compatibility.

• Collaborate with the UX/UI team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Proven experience in TypeScript and React.js development.

• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

• Experience leading and mentoring front-end developers.

• Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.

• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Responsive design and mobile-first principles.

• Backend and API integration knowledge is a plus.

• Experience with ShopifyPlus is a plus.
