The Role

As a Product Designer at NU, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products. You will be responsible for creating visually captivating graphics for a variety of our products, working closely with our team to ensure our designs are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually captivating graphics for a variety of our products.

  • Translate complex data into intuitive, user-friendly designs.

  • Oversee design projects from initial idea to final implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement design solutions for our products.

  • Participate in the iterative design process, providing a holistic approach to design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a digital product designer.

  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating your ascetic design process and ability to simplify complex problems.

  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles.

  • Experience designing, maintaining, and implementing design systems.

  • Strong understanding of user research and testing methodologies.

  • Fluency in collaborative design tools like Figma and Adobe Suite.

  • Demonstrate creative and innovative problem-solving and a willingness to take the lead where needed.

  • Ability to communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present work to a wider team and executives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have:

  • Basic knowledge or understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Motion design experience (After Effects, Lottie)

  • 3D experience (C4D, Spline)

  • Experience with Framer
