The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and Golang. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side components of our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the backend development team and oversee the design and implementation of microservices deployed on AWS ECS

• Develop serverless components using AWS SAM

• Build scalable and efficient REST APIs using Golang and NodeJS (we are migrating from NodeJS to Golang)

• Drive test-driven development practices and ensure code quality.

• Experiences with designing document databases (DynamoDB and MongoDB)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong experience with distributed systems.

• Proficiency in REST API development.

• Knowledge of test-driven development methodologies.

• Familiarity with MongoDB and DynamoDB.

• Experience with Golang is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
