The Role

As a Visual Designer, you will be an integral part of our design team and responsible for designing visually engaging materials that communicate complex scientific concepts to a variety of audiences. You will work alongside our design team, head of design, and science team to create interesting visual experiences for our users.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement unique, creative, and visually compelling designs for various platforms such as websites, product interfaces, marketing materials, and presentations.

  • Maintain consistency through our visual language, ensuring all design elements align with the company's brand guidelines and identity.

  • Leverage our design language to enhance creative outcomes and elevate brand positioning.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver design solutions for our products.

  • Participate in the iterative design process, providing a holistic approach to design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a visual designer within a digital agency/studio or tech-related startup.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ascetic and design process.

  • A holistic approach to design and the ability to work in the iterative design process.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all design elements are visually appealing and meet project specifications.

  • Fluency in collaborative design tools like Figma and Adobe Suite.

  • Good understanding of human-centered design principles.

  • UX/UI fundamentals, including experience with design systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of emerging tools, technologies, design strategies, and trends.

  • Good written and verbal communication.

Good to have:

  • Basic knowledge or understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Motion design experience (After Effects, Lottie)

  • 3D experience (C4D, Spline)

  • Experience with Framer
